Queen City Angels (QCA), the well-known Cincinnati investor group, is moving into the HCDC Business Center in June 2017. The group will occupy a 200-sq ft office space in HCDC’s 1775 Mentor Ave. building. “The HCDC Business Center is truly the center of entrepreneurship in the Cincinnati/Tri-State region. It is the place for entrepreneurs to work with one another, and leverage the coaching and resources provided by the #1 incubator in the State of Ohio,” says Scott Jacobs, Executive Director, Queen City Angels.
“QCA wants to contribute to that environment, and has supported HCDC for many years (we have numerous QCA portfolio companies housed at HCDC, including ReadySet Surgical, and two companies founded by QCA investors: Sense Diagnostics and CräKN). Our partnership with HCDC in programs like eKickStart and Morning Mentoring can be further enhanced with our physical presence. We hope to begin promoting ‘open office hours’ at HCDC’s newly redesigned CoWorks space soon, and spend as much time as possible learning more about new concepts being developed and supporting our primary mission…assisting entrepreneurs!” Jacobs continues.
“The HCDC Business Center is thrilled to have the Queen City Angels establish an office presence on our campus,” adds HCDC Business Center Director Patrick Longo. “We believe that QCA will enjoy the vast amenities of our entrepreneurial hub, and our clients will benefit from greater access to the talents, connections, and capital of QCA. Since 2002, QCA has been one of HCDC’s main partners in programs like SoundingBoard, Morning Mentoring, Regional Entrepreneurs Forum, and eKickStart! We look forward to seeing how the new proximity of our relationship will continue to benefit entrepreneurs in the region and here at the Business Center.
