HCDC’s Office of Economic Development submitted a proposal to the Hamilton County Commissioners to receive funding for a new service segment: the Office of Innovation & Creativity. We recently received approval on this proposal and funding in the amount of $125,000.
These monies will be used to fund research to identify new and exciting fields of growth for the county, which can result in significant job creation in local second-stage tech businesses, improving Hamilton County’s overall economic health. The funds will also be used for focus groups with Fortune 500 and 1000 companies to investigate how HCDC’s Office of Innovation & Creativity can best help companies in the growth industries identified.
Stay tuned for further information on this new and exciting addition to HCDC!
