HCDC Business Center graduate company Emersion Design recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary. Emersion occupied the entire 2nd floor of the Business Center’s 1775 building and helped Director Pat Longo design the recently completed CoWorks area that now occupies that same space. The company started with four founders and 750 sq ft of office space at the Business Center in 2007 and grew to 26 employees and more than 6,000 sq ft when the company graduated the program in 2015.
“Congratulations to the management and team of Emersion Design for their 10-year Anniversary. HCDC Business Center has been proud to be part of their history since day one and we look forward to a very bright future for our friends at Emersion Design,” says HCDC Business Center Director Pat Longo.
Additionally, the company’s downtown Cincinnati facility at 310 Culvert St. was recently certified as a LEED Platinum building by the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification is the highest level of a rating system where facilities earn points for environmentally friendly actions taken during construction and use of a building. Emersion is tied with Lohre & Associates for the second greenest building in Cincinnati.
