Cincinnati Minority Business Collaborative
HCDC & HCBC are part of the Cincinnati Minority Business Collaborative (CMBC). This joint initiative, started in 2010, is comprised of five separate nonprofit organizations serving the regional entrepreneurial community: the African American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky (AACC), the Urban League's Economic Empowerment Center (UL-EEC), Greater Cincinnati Micro-Enterprise Initiative (GCMI), Minority Business Accelerator (MBA) & HCDC / HCBC.
The CMBC’s mission is to maximize its members’ collective capabilities to positively impact the growth, development and success of regional minority firms, and to produce better outcomes in business, employment, wealth creation and growth. The collaborative’s participants are leveraging their programming to levels never attained before, via a shared database for tracking assessment services, joint seminars and workshops. HCDC / HCBC will continue to pursue these types of partnerships, while strengthening the core mission of HCDC / HCBC.
