On behalf of our entire community, I am proud to welcome you to Hamilton County, Ohio, where we provide big city amenities with small town-charm. Established in 1790 and named after Alexander Hamilton, our county is rich in history and culture while being on the cutting edge of tomorrow's research and technology.

Hamilton County has always been the business and financial hub of the Greater Cincinnati region--providing close proximity to 60 percent of the United States population (one day's drive, or one hour flight).
